Services

Sterling Dog Walks & Wellness provides private, one-on-one dog walking services within a focused downtown Toronto service area.

Services are designed around calm handling, routine consistency, dependable communication, and structured walks for condo-based dogs and busy professionals.

Dogs from separate households are not grouped together unless otherwise agreed upon.

Consultations & Client Approval

All services begin with a consultation to determine scheduling fit and operational compatibility.

Sterling reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where safety concerns, behavioral concerns, scheduling conflicts, or operational limitations arise.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding:

• Behavioral concerns or triggers
• Reactivity or bite history
• Medical conditions or mobility limitations
• Emergency contact information
• Building access instructions
• Proper walking equipment and secure harnesses

Clients are also responsible for ensuring reliable building access during scheduled visits.

Scheduling & Cancellations

Walk scheduling is coordinated in advance based on availability and route planning.

While punctuality is prioritized, arrival times may occasionally vary due to weather, traffic, building delays, or transit-related factors.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations whenever possible.

Safety & Weather Conditions

The safety and wellbeing of the dog remain the highest priority.

Services may be shortened, modified, rescheduled, or canceled during unsafe conditions including extreme heat, severe cold, storms, ice conditions, or unsafe pavement temperatures.

Emergency veterinary care may be sought if necessary for the dog’s safety.

Home Access & Privacy

Sterling respects client privacy, condominium policies, and in-home security expectations at all times.

Keys, fobs, access instructions, and personal information are handled confidentially and used solely for scheduled service purposes.

Payments

Service rates, scheduling structure, and billing expectations are discussed during consultation and onboarding.

Additional charges may apply for holidays, extended waiting periods, last-minute requests, specialized care requirements, or additional dogs from the same household.

Completed services are generally non-refundable.

Liability & Insurance

Sterling Dog Walks & Wellness is fully insured for professional pet care services.

While reasonable care and safety practices are prioritized, Sterling is not responsible for unpredictable animal behavior, undisclosed medical conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.

Privacy & Information Handling

Client information is used solely for operational purposes related to pet care services, scheduling, communication, and safety planning.

Sterling does not sell or share personal client information for marketing purposes.

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically, with the most current version remaining available through the website.
